Paul Casey was born in Cork in 1968. He has lived most of his life between Ireland, South Africa and Zambia. His poems have been published in many journals and anthologies and a chapbook of his longer poems, It's Not all Bad, was published by The Heaventree Press in May 2009. In June 2010 he completed a poetry-film, The Lammas Hireling, based eponymously on the enigmatic, award-winning poem by Ian Duhig, which premiered at Berlin's Zebra International Poetry-Film Festival.
