Dublin born self taught guitarist/composer Hugh Buckley has performed with a wide array of international artists, working as a sideman and also leading his own groups. Some of these artists include; James Williams, Peter Washington, Peter Bernstein, John Stowell, Tim Ries Rolling Stones Project (w/Bernard Fowler and Michael Davis), Georgie Fame, Javon Jackson, Scott Hamilton, Jon Faddis, Van Morrison, Ronnie Drew and many more. He has three cds under his own name,"Yes Indeed" (1998), "Spirit Level" (2001) (both recorded in New York) and "Sketches of Now" (2007) which features all original compositions. Hugh is producer, arranger and guitarist on the legendary Ronnie Drews 2008 platinum selling cd release The Last Session - A Fond Farewell.
