John Melbourne – Principal Percussion, Northern Ballet Theatre

Sunday 27 April at 2.00pm
TIMPANI with
Simon Carrington – Principal Timpanist of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Professor of Timpani at the Royal Academy of Music
Marney O’Sullivan – Principal Timpanist of the Orchestra of Opera North and Professor of Timpani at Trinity College of Music

There will be an opportunity for one or two students to have a private timpani lesson with Simon Carrington on this day – if you would like to be considered please email percussion@globalmusicfoundation.org

DRUM KIT AND WORLD PERCUSSION with
Asaf Sirkis – the world class drum phenomenon that has taken the British jazz scene by storm over the last few years. www.asafsirkis.co.uk
Stephen Keogh – one of the top drummers on the European scene, known for his inventiveness and versatility.

Each workshop will last approximately three hours.
