Lots of inspiring music in prospect from a truly exciting international quartet packed with talent and led by stunning Spanish alto star Perico Sambeat.
Perico is considered to be one of the most important jazz musicians in Europe and one of the best also saxophonists in the world. With more than a hundred recordings, many of his remarkable works are with outstanding musicians such as Brad Mehldau, Michael Brecker and Pat Metheny, among others. During his career, Sambeat has received numerous awards including the "Bird Award" given by the North Sea Jazz Festival and best recording of the year award for his Flamenco Big Band.
Ace Spanish pianist Albert Sanz has worked with musicians such as Mark Turner, Chris Cheek and Kurt Rosenwinkel in Europe and New York. He has recorded six records as a leader and his latest record features Al Foster and Javier Colina.
Alex Davis, currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, is one the busiest and most in-demand young bass players in the UK.
Barcelona based Spethen Keogh is widely recognised as one of Europe's top jazz drummers for his performances with Bobby Watson, Brad Mehldau, Peter King and Louis Stewart.
