Charismatic Buenos Aires-born vocalist and guitarist Guillermo Rozenthuler has become one of the leading voices of Argentine Tango and South American song in the UK. Having started his vocal career as a jazz singer, he still cultivates a love for vocal improvisation and a creative approach to interpretation and arranging.
His solo performances combine passion and tenderness with a rare rhythmic precision. A soulful singer and a versatile improviser, his originals and his distinctive take on popular songs from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Cuba are sometimes influenced by Middle Eastern and Indian vocal styles.
His latest project, 'Canciones con y sin palabras', is a collaboration with internationally acclaimed Latin Jazz pianist Edward Simon.
"Guillermo has rocked me with his amazing swinging versatility. A true World Music journey!"
Mark Murphy, vocal jazz legend
